The difficulty of the game ramps up as you progress through the game and trust me it does get quite difficult in the Level 3 stages of the classes, especially in Street where the AI rubberbanding is literally insane. Sofia Martinez, Jack Benton and Jason Walker are like the fastest opponents and there are many other characters. The AI opponents are all unique in how they drive, they are all driven by their own characters. I think I like it more than Burnout 3's OST.

In career mode you can upgrade your cars with parts like gearbox, engine upgrades, body upgrades etc. The gameplay is quite chaotic, nice mix of arcade/realistic handling, decent car sounds, excellent crash physics and damage models, the car models take inspiration from real life cars and mixes them up so they feel fresh and unique. Once you do that - you unlock a new category called grand finals, beat all the finale cups/championships there and you beat the game just like I did. Street has the fastest cars and the career mode is organised in these classes, beat all the races in those classes where in each class, there are 3 levels and in each of those levels is a set of cups/championships.
